The knife is constructed with a rubberized fiber-reinforced handle that’s finished with a topographic imagery to enhance its style as well as its grip. The knife retains the 110-decibel whistle along with the removable steel cutting hook, but is accented by the addition of a pinch-style tick remover insert. This replaces the flint fire starter to accommodate hikers who might have more use for a way to remove ticks than start a fire.
The Opinel No.12 Outdoor Explore Folding Knife is available now from the brand at a price point of $55 and comes in two color options.
