Blix launched the ‘Dubbel’ e-bike, an electric micro-mobility solution focused on utility and convenience. According to Blix, family motorcycles were the inspiration for the Dubbel. As a result, the e-bike features a high maximum payload of 200lb, not counting the primary rider. This payload is distributed between a rear secondary seat, which can be swapped out for a storage basket, and a front bar-mounted basket component.
As for the performance of the Dubbel, the bike achieves a top speed of 28 mph thanks to its 750w motor, and a range of 80 miles per charge, achieved by its 1,344 Wh battery pack. The bike itself weighs 70 pounds, meaning it is not easily carried, but it is intended to function as a city errand bike, not an off-roading sports bike.
